A Chinese painted marble table screen, 19th century
painted with two ladies by a window overlooking a fenced garden with blossoming prunus and plantain amidst rockwork, watching two approaching dignitaries with a horse, the reverse painted with an inscription and two seals above simulated dreamstone mountain scape, mounted within a wood frame and supported on a wood stand -- overall 21 3/16in. (53.8cm.) high.
