A pair of Japanese Imari sleeve vases, 19th century
each of a cylindrical form rising to a short waisted neck and everted rim, decorated with two panels enclosing peony and chrysanthemum sprays alternating with iron-red ground panels with floral decoration, reserved on a floral ground above a lappet border, the neck with lozenge and floral sprays band -- 18 3/8in. (46.7cm.) high. (2)
