Four pottery nodding-head figures, 16th 17th century
two wearing long black glazed tunics tied at the waist with a red belt, the right arm raised and the left stretched down at the side, variously wearing round and pointed caps and tall boots, supported on rectangular plinths with apron decoration; a third, similarly modelled but glazed in green and black; and the fourth unglazed with the arms extended forward -- the tallest 12 7/8in. (32.7cm.) high. (4)
