A pair of Chinese famille verte vases and covers, Kangxi (1662-1722) and 18th century
each of slender ovoid form, the first surmounted by a domed cover and the second by a matched 18th Century famille rose cover, the body decorated with a lappet border enclosing peony and chrysanthemum sprays reserved on seeded and diaper grounds, the lappets suspending cash tassels flanked by floral sprays, the shoulders with peony sprays on a ring ground -- max. 5 7/8in. (14.9cm.) high. (2)
