Each oval and on four reeded panel feet, with reeded rim, engraved with a coat-of-arms within drapery mantling, each marked on back

The arms are those of Brooke quartering Townshend for George Brooke (d.1845) of Haughton Shiffnall, co. Shropshire. He was the son of George Salesbury Townshend (d.1801). He assumed the name of Brooke in 1797 having inherited the estate of Haughton from his uncle in 1786. He married Henrietta, daughter of Richard Massey of Walton-on-the Hill, co. Lancaster, in 1799. He was high-sheriff of Shropshire in 1811. (2)
