Early 19th century, the portrait frame apparently unmarked, possibly Italy
Each circular, comprising two walnut, a tortoise shell, an ivory and a vernis martin snuff-box, each set with a portrait miniature of young ladies; the portrait frame shaped oval, mounted on wood base, the openwork silver mount with floral scrolls, gilt cherub mask, shell and two cornucopiae on velvet background, surrounding oval glazed centre
