Decorated overall with floral trails and foliate scrolls, the arched moulded top surmounted by a foliate crest, above a pair of shaped glazed panelled doors, enclosing a fitted interior with seventeen pigeon-holes, six open compartments, and two drawers, the lower section with a writing-slope enclosing four pigeon-holes and two short drawers, above a pair of serpentine-fronted panelled doors enclosing a shelf, with shaped sides, on scroll feet, the interior covered in 'Piazzesi' paper
