A SET OF TWELVE MAHOGANY DINING-CHAIRS
FOUR SIDE CHAIRS LATE 18TH CENTURY, EIGHT OF LATER DATE
Comprising two armchairs and ten side chairs, each with arched interlaced pierced splat above a dished seat covered in close-nailed green leather, on moulded square legs joined by stretchers, the later chairs stamped '2984' and 'G.C', the 18th century chairs with an arched central stretcher, one 18th century chair stamped '8751', two 18th century chairs partially re-railed, one front leg replaced
The side chairs: 36¾ in. (93.5 cm.) high; 21½ in. (54.5 cm.) wide; 19¼ in. (49 cm.) depth of seat
The armchairs: 37 in. (94 cm.) high; 23 in. (58.5 cm.) wide; 20 in. (51 cm.) depth of seat (12)
