The rectangular seat with pedimented back centred by a roundel with the crest of a lion statant holding a spear, on turned tapering legs headed by foliage, the underside inscribed in chalk '26', originally decorated
23¼ in. (59 cm.) high; 41¾ in. (106 cm.) wide; 12 in. (30.5 cm.) deep

Probably the Wyatt of Kent family.

Lot Essay
The crest is most likely to be that of the Wyatt of Kent family. A similar crest is used by the Brock (or Brocke) family with the lion holding a dart and the Pickas family where the lion bears a spear.
