The rectangular moulded cornice above a frieze set with stylised floral paterae and three open shelves flanked by turned supports, the lower section with two frieze drawers above two adjustable sheves and a stepped plinth fitted with two mahogany-lined drawers, with paper label of H. Mawer & Stephenson Antiques, the right end veneered, the left end with added moulding
