The tooled light brown leather-lined rectangular top, above a frieze inlaid with Greek-key fretting, fitted with three panelled drawers to one side and three simulated drawers to the reverse, mounted with musical and martial attributes to the ends, and rosette paterae to the corners, above square tapering legs headed by garland swags, with remains of three paper labels, 'Grosvenor../March...', 'Grosvenor....., July 1934 March, 1935', and 'Library'
