Deeply carved on both sides, the front with figures at various pursuits in a court setting around a central depiction of a warrior presenting a large tripod vessel to three seated figures as a group gathers to look on, framed by borders of scholars' objects, antiques and auspicious emblems along the top and bottom of each panel, the reverse carved with a landscape with birds, flowers and rockwork between borders of immortals along the top and mythical and exotic animals along the base
