The central rectangular panel elaborately painted on one side with a scene of nine five-clawed dragons amidst clouds in a fantastic mountainscape below a flaming pearl, surrounded by gilded borders interspersed with shou characters and auspicious emblems, the reverse with ninety alternating shou and fu characters in various scripts, set within the gilt and lacquered wood frame between small rectangular panels of pierced and gilded archaistic elements, supported by standing spandrels painted with lotus scroll and set on two shoe feet carved with two dragons confronted around a further shou character
