Of square, tapered form, the waists decorated on each facet with an archaistic taotie mask between gilt-bronze lappet borders, each facet of the flared neck and foot with a continuous pattern of archaistic, stylized leaf-shaped lappets interspersed with lotus blossoms and leafy tendrils, all between key-fret borders at the mouth and foot rims, with lotus sprays on the interior of the mouth below a stylized, archaistic scroll
