A RARE LARGE YELLOW AND BLUE-GLAZED DISH
YONGZHENG SIX-CHARACTER MARK IN UNDERGLAZE BLUE WITHIN A DOUBLE CIRCLE AND OF THE PERIOD (1723-1735)
With rounded sides rising from a tapering ring foot, the interior decorated in relief with a flowering camellia branch surrounded by four further blossoming branches in the well, and the exterior with a camellia leaf frieze bearing six blossoms, all under a soft egg-yolk yellow glaze reserved on a dark blue ground and between white line borders
13¼ in. (33.7 cm.) diam.
