AN UNUSUAL GLAZED 'ALMS BOWL' WITH CUT-OUT DESIGN
18TH/19TH CENTURY
The deep rounded sides tapering to a ring foot and curving inwards towards the mouth, the sides decorated with a band of cut-out lotus scroll bearing six large flowers and covered inside and out with a clear glaze of blue-green tint that fills in the cut-out design and ends in a neat line above the white base of the interior
