A CELADON-GLAZED PEAR-SHAPED VASE

The body carved with peony scroll above a band of petal lappets repeated in a double row at the base of the waisted neck which is flanked by a pair of scrolling leaf handles and further encircled by double bow-string and upright leaf tip bands, with a band of key fret on the upright rim and top of the spreading foot, covered overall with a glaze of pale blue-green color repeated on the base within the blackish dressing on the foot
