QIANLONG/JIAQING PERIOD (1736-1820)
The robustly potted vase of rectangular form with a short, spreading foot and waisted neck, the exterior heavily gilded with a large lotus blossom at the center amidst lingzhi, leafy tendrils and wispy clouds within an archaistic border of confronted kui dragons, further framed by floral scroll and key-fret borders on the foot and neck, the sides with similar floral scroll interspersed with clouds, the interior and base covered in turquoise enamel
