Hira-zukuri, iori-mune with ko-itame forging pattern and saka-choji midare tempered edge with utsuri, bo-hi on the omote side, ubu tang with one hole and kiri file marks; gold habaki carved with Sanskrit characters and an ox by a waterfall, the surrounding areas carved with clouds on a hatched ground
