Edo period (18th century), signed Mitsumori and with kao and with gold-inlaid attritbution Saku Teijo, menuki inscribed Motte Teijo tsuka kogai and Mitsumori saku
Shakudo nanako-ji kozuka, kogai and menuki of monkeys carrying banners of noshi papers designed in shakudo, gold and copper
kozuka 3 7/8in. (9.7cm.) long; kogai 8 3/8in. (21.3cm.) long; menuki 1 3/8in. (3.6cm.) wide each
With Tokubetsu kicho tosogu (Especially precious sword-fitting) certificate no. 529 issued by the Nihon Bijustsu Token Hozon Kyokai (Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword), dated 1964.5.31
With wood box with inscription and signed by Sato Kanzan (1907-1978) who attributes this set to Goto Teijo (4)
