La fontaine d'amour: Elegant figures by a fountain in a landscape

The present lot is a copy after a tapestry designed for the Beauvais' manufactory by Boucher in 1748 part of a series called 'La noble pastorale' (see A. Ananoff, François Boucher, Lausanne-Paris, 1976, vol. II, no. 321).
