The rectangular breakfront bréche d'Alep marble top above a pair of drawers with three framed marquetry panels inlaid sans traverse and depicting a fortified town and classical ruins, with laurel-wreath handles, above a serpentine apron applied with an acanthus-wrapped urn, the side similarly decorated, on shaped legs and acanthus-cast paw feet, the reverse stamped 1553
