Based on a European silver original, the ribbed baluster body supported on a short splayed foot, painted with two broad horizontal bands of stylized foliage, demi-flower-heads and tassels, interspersed with a row of insects and of butterflies, the slightly domed cover similarly decorated and surmounted with lion finial (tail of lion with small chip, minor glaze frittings)
