A BLUE AND WHITE PEAR-SHAPED EWER AND A COVER, Kangxi
The body moulded at the centre with a ruyi panel, the sides and hexagonal foot and rim decorated with sprays of prunus, the spout and handle with flaming clouds (chips), 17cm. high; a blue and white octagonal teapot and a cover, Kangxi, decorated with panels of standing ladies and flower sprays (fritted), 11cm. high; and two blue and white 'kraak porselein' bowls, Wanli, each painted slightly differently with a scholar seated in an outdoor setting, below quatrefoil panels enclosing peach and flower sprays, repeated on the everted rim on a key pattern ground (small frittings), 14.3cm. diam.
