A brass figure of Manjushri
Kashmir or Western Tibet, 13th Century
Seated with his right leg pendant, holding his sword aloft in his right hand and a lotus supporting his manuscript in the other, adorned with multiple armlets and necklaces, the face with finely cast features and almond-shaped urna, the hair pulled up into a high chignon topped with a finial, with remains of polychromy in the face and headdress
