Tibeto-Chinese, Kangxi Period, 17th Century
Seated on a double-lotus base with his hands in dharmachakra mudra, wearing voluminous robes with incised borders, the face with full lips and heavy-lidded eyes, the reverse detailed with the borders and folds in the robes, richly gilt overall and the details superbly executed, the base sealed with copper plate and incised with the double-vajra
