Thailand or Cambodia, Lopburi, 13th/14th century
Seated in bhumisparsa mudra on a coiled snake body over a square platform, wearing a dhoti secured at the waist with a belt, a thick torque about the neck, the face with benign expression flanked by pendulous earlobes, the hair pulled into a conical chignon and secured with a wide tiara, the reverse with the snake's tail overlapping the body
