Lot Essay

This is a very unusual and rare depiction of Ganesha; compare with a Pre-Angkor example at the National Museum Phnom Penh, equally holding a conch, see W. Lobo and H. Jessup, Angkor, Gottliches Erbe Kambodschas, 2007 cat. no. 23, p. 72.
