The rectangular top with re-entrant corners on standard end supports, with further slender spindle uprights and reeded lozenge panels, splayed feet and brass foliate capped castors

A table with 'spindle end' trestles of this Grecian lyre pattern features in the 1818 Estimate Sketch Book of Gillows of London and Lancaster ( see G.Wills, Craftsmen and Cabinet-Makers of Classic English Furniture, Edinburgh, 1974, fig. 109).
