The circular top with a raised rim on slender paired supports with a concave sided tricorn undertier centred by a star and with tapering chamferred legs with mille raie panels and foliate feet, stamped to the underside of the feet 487 and with T S

Lot Essay

This celebrated table pattern was almost certainly conceived by the marchand-mercier Dominique Daguerre and almost exclusively executed by Adam Weisweiler. A contemprary drawing is in the Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Paris.
