A LARGE ROSE-VERTE IMARI ARMORIAL DISH, Kangxi, circa 1720
For the Dutch market, enamelled at the centre with a coat-of-arms bearing the inscription 'Meccelen' below, surmounted by a coronet, flanked by female figures standing in niches below a pediment, surrounded at the well by fish and crustacea vignettes, the wide rim decorated with alternate cartouches of prunus and figures, reserved on an underglaze blue trellis diaper-pattern (base crack and small restoration)
