The first signed on the underside with a gold-foil 'K', the second signed below the silhouette with a blue and white 'K' cane, 20th century
Each set with a central shoulder-length portrait silhouette of either 'Whistler's Mother' or 'Sun Bonnet Sue', to sinister, reserved within posies issuing three green leaves, the first on a turquoise aventurine ground; the second faceted example on a mottled opaque white and deep-pink jasper ground, cut with top and six side printies
