A PAIR OF FAMILLE ROSE LEMON-YELLOW-GROUND BOWLS, Daoguang seal mark in underglaze blue and of the period
Enamelled on the exterior with six composite flower-heads resembling lotus, chrysanthemum, aster, hibiscus, orchid and peony borne on a dense foliate scroll and reserved on an opaque lemon-yellow-ground, the interior white-glazed and painted in the center with five iron-red bats (one with one minute glaze frit on the rim, the other restored)
