A MASSIVE GLAZED BUFF POTTERY FIGURE OF A CAMEL, Tang Dynasty
Modelled standing four square on a rectangular base with neck arched and mouth open in a bray, the body covered with an attractively streaked glaze of varying amber tone, the heavy fur on the neck and the tuft of fur on the head covered in cream glaze, as well as on the tail, humps and legs (some restorations)
