Two Japanese mask netsuke, late 18th and 19th Century
both carved in wood, the first of Uba, her face covered in wrinkles; another of Shiwajo, typically wearing his hair in a bow -- 1¾in. (4.5cm.) long max. (2)
Provenance
Both were sold at Christie's London on 25 November 1980, The Albert Brockhaus Collection.
