A Japanese bronze censer, late 19th Century
modelled as an eagle, its wings outstretched and perched upon a tree stump scattered with vine leaves and just about to take off, eyes gilt, its lower neck with a small detachable and pierced cover -- 47¼in. (120cm.) high.
