A pair of Japanese ovoid silver vases, Meiji (1868-1912)
the slightly tapering body rising to an angled shoulder, curving neck and flattened rim, with an applied, gilt decorated, kiku mon raised in relief below the shoulder of the vase, within a band of incised scrolling leafy foliage, two stamp seals to base -- 12in. (30.5cm.) high. (2)
