A pair of Japanese cloisonne enamelled vases, Meiji Period (1868-1912)
of flattened baluster form, decorated in coloured enamels with butterflies flying above a bed of flowering blossoms including wisteria, hydrangea, lily, peony and chrysanthemum, egrets on a river bank surrounded by reeds to the reverse side -- 16in. (40.7cm.) high. (2)
