A Japanese bronze tiger group, by Seiya, Meiji Period (1868-1912)
modelled as two tigers in combat, both open mouthed in expressions of fierce roaring, the first beast with two paws upon the up turned belly of the other, each with naturalistic stripe embellishments -- 9¼in. (23.5cm.) wide.
