A Cantonese famille rose vase, 19th century
of ovoid form rising to the waisted neck with an everted foliate rim, the neck applied with Buddhist lion and ball handles above two pairs of dragons clambering from the shoulders towards the neck, enamelled with panels enclosing ladies, dignitaries and attendants in verandas by a fenced garden, reserved on a floral diaper ground, the shoulders and rim with a foliate floral scroll -- 13 7/8in. (35.2cm.) high, wood stand.
