A Chinese famille rose dish, Jiaqing mark, 19th century
with shallow rounded sides rising to the foliate rim, enamelled with peacocks, cranes, ducks, magpies and other birds by a lotus pond amidst a tree and peony sprays, the undersides with five bats, iron-red six character Jiaqing seal mark -- 9¾in. (24.7cm.) diam.
