Patek Philippe produced the reference 5100, "10-Day" wristwatch, to commemorate the beginning of the third millennium. The design of this model, imitating the manta ray, evolved from the reference 2554 from the 1950s and 1960s. Produced in a limited edition, there exist 1,500 pieces in yellow gold, 750 in rose gold, 450 in white gold and 300 examples in platinum.
