The cast silver female figure, possibly modelled after a work of Alexandre Charpentier, and emblematic of sleep, appearing suspended in the air, connected to the ground by a diaphanous piece of material loosely placed around her lower body, mounted to small plinth, 7¾ in. high (19.5 cm.).
