A BOW WHITE SHELL-FORM SALT AND A CHELSEA SHAPED OVAL DISH
Circa 1750-1758, brown anchor mark to the second
The salt formed as an upturned shell supported by three further shells on a trefoil rockwork mound applied with shells and seaweed; the lobed dish painted with two Kirby cucumbers, cherries and rosehips within a brown line rim
4 5/8 in. (11.7 cm.) wide, the salt; 8¾ in. (22.2 cm.) long, the oval dish (2)
