Lot Essay

As indicated by the rare blue crowned wave mark found on early 20th century production of models originally made during the years Frantz Heinrich Müller was director of the factory (1775-1801), the present candlesticks are direct copies of a model conceived in the late 18th century as an accompaniment to 'Flora Danica'.
