apparently unmarked, probably Leeuwarden, 18th Century

With sliding base plate, the base of the rectangular body with a reeded band and the walls chased with scrolling foliage surrounding a plain central rectangle, the one on the front engraved with foliage and two shields, surrounded by a corded band, on a mottled ground, and the sides chased with scrolls and ovals on a mottled ground to a reeded upper rim, the cylindrical lift-off cover with a moulded rim and a pointed finial - 14.5cm (178gr)
