Designed as a line of brilliant-cut diamonds suspending a foliate fringe of graduated marquise-cut diamonds, circa 1955, 36.3 cm long

Accompanied by report No. 16291149 dated 14 September 2007 from the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) stating that the marquise-cut diamond weighing 4.89 carats is D colour, VS2 clarity
Accompanied by report No. 16291141 dated 13 September 2007 from the GIA stating that the marquise-cut diamond weighing 4.05 carats is D colour, VS1 clarity
The range of 13 well matched marquise-cut diamonds in this necklace are of unusually fine quality. The remaining 11 diamonds are currently pending results from the GIA and are likely to reflect the quality of the two stones that have already been graded.
