A similar but slightly earlier carved mottled grey jade powder horn was sold in these Rooms 23 September 2005, lot 147. Two similar jade powder flasks to that one are in the National Palace Museum of Taipei, published in the Catalogue of a Special Exhibition of Hindustan Jade in the National Palace Museum, Taipei, 1983, nos. 69 and 70. A further green jade example was with Spink (Gopis, Goddesses and Demons, exhibition catalogue, London, 2000, no,30, p.46).
