Of typical form, two cast handles on the top each in the form of a leaping fish, a cast panel near the priming hole with floral interlace design, slight corrosion and rubbing, on metal stand

Lot Essay

This cannon is of unusually small size. It is very possibly one of the small cannon which are recorded as having been carried on the backs of camels. This mounting would not have improved their accuracy.
