Shaped rectangular, with finely chiseled and engraved arabesque decoration, with engine-turned base and sides, the cover applied at the corners with rose gold scrolls with platinum rivets, the hinged cover with diamond-set flowerbasket on a field of blue guilloché enamel, within a border of rose gold set with seed pearls, opening to a pierced grille with feathered automaton bird, the back panel with hinged key compartment, the fusée movement playing six tunes, with key; movement marked C. BRUGUIER GENEVE and numbered 545
